1 casual Activities Assistant, Wellness Services, LVP position available, starting on October 13, 2025, working various hours per week.

Your Role:




Responsible to the Manager of Wellness Services for the delivery of life enriching activities to promote quality of life for all residents. Supports or leads the facilitation of programming that meets the diverse needs of residents. Responsible for maintaining an environment which promotes the health and well-being of the residents. Maintains confidentiality of information related to residents and their families. Works intentionally from an anti-racist, anti-oppressive perspective to further create a sense of belonging at the Agency.

Your Talents and Experience:




Minimum Grade 12 education. Formal education in recreation/re-motivation therapy from an accredited College or University is an asset. Certified fitness instructor an asset. Has experience working with seniors and a sound understanding and empathy for the needs of seniors and their families. Strong interpersonal skills, highly creative, works well under own initiative and displays sound judgment. Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and empathetically with residents and staff. Adept at learning various computer applications. Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, problem solve creatively and work within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
