Patient Transport Services is expanding, and we are seeking compassionate Active-Duty Supervisor to help us fulfill our mission: To make a difference by providing an extraordinary experience--every patient, every encounter, every time.

We are currently hiring for a Full-Time, Permanent Active-Duty Supervisor in Thompson MB position with a starting wage of $24-28 per hour .

Role:

The Active Duty Supervisor provides supervision to staff with the transportation of non-emergency ambulant, and stretcher bound patients who require a responsive level of care and assistance, providing emergency aid, where appropriate. The ADS coordinates and trains staff and provides excellent customer service to both patients and all staff/family members involved in patient care, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is highly observant and is able to problem solve and handle multiple priorities as necessary, if this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!

All applicants must be 18+ and possess at minimum, a class 5F drivers license (many 5i licenses are actually 5F, check the back of your ID card to be sure!) All our staff enjoy an extensive paid training program, during which we prepare new team members for a career in Healthcare.

To serve as many people in need as possible, Patient Transport operates 24/7. We are currently hiring for a full time position with 12-hour shift. We encourage a work life balance and believe in supporting the health and wellbeing of our team members.

Essential Criteria:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience providing guidance and supervision at work

Experience Training staff

Ability to maintain confidentiality of health-related information

Strong political acumen and an ability to maintain relationships with all employees and management.

Ability to pay attention to details

Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meeting tight deadlines

Effective problem-solving skills

Effective Interpersonal skills

Preferred Criteria

Experience in Emergency Medical Response field

• Standard First Aid w/ CPR BLS

Standard First Aid and HCP-CPR.

Valid Manitoba Class 4 Driver's License (must currently have class 5F)

Ability to lift up to 250 lbs with a partner
