Job Title: Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist
Location: Brampton - ONSITE

Salary: $55,000+, plus excellent benefits and RSP plan
Our client is a national distributor with 4 facilities across Canada. This role will have you reporting into a Controller in Vancouver and working in HQ with a small team in Brampton. This is an excellent opportunity to start with a newly acquired company.
The duties will include the following:
- opening customer accounts and setting up credit limits
- releasing and holding of orders
- follow up with customers on past due invoices
- back up for cash applications
- prepare daily bank deposits
- matching of debits and credits
- work closely with Sales reps, and managers
- work closely with manager for write-offs
- monthly reporting
- ad hoc duties as assigned
- 3+ years of Credit and Collections experience in a manufacturing/distribution industry
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to commute to office 5 days/week
- bilingual is a strong asset
