Job Description

ComField Management Services Inc., a trusted name in property management, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Junior/Entry Level Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in financial administration and a passion for supporting efficient operations across residential and commercial properties.



Accounts Receivable:



Maintain tenant/owner information, monthly charges information and pre-authorized payment (PAP) information in the systems.

Input and post charging to tenant and owner account

Record receipts, including bounced receipts, from tenants or owners and process PAP.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts, including outstanding balances and payment history

Perform regular reconciliations of customer accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies

Accounts Payable:



Process incoming invoices from vendors, ensuring accuracy and timely processing

Enter invoices into the system on a timely basis.

Arrange for cheques to be signed, sorted, and returned to the sites.

Assist with cutting checks and electronically processing payments

Invoice verification and coding

Maintaining accurate and detailed records of invoices, payments, and vendor information

Coordinating with property managers and other departments to ensure accurate invoicing

Ensuring that the payment is accurately recorded and matched with the corresponding invoice.

Payroll Processing



Collect and verify timesheets, attendance records, and leave requests.

Process payroll on a regular schedule (bi-weekly, semi-monthly, etc.).

Ensure accurate distribution of pay via direct deposit or cheques.

Ensure payroll practices comply with federal and provincial employment standards.

Prepare and file government remittances (e.g., CPP, EI, income tax).

Report gross earning to WSIB.

Generate and distribute T4s, ROEs, and other statutory documents.

Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data.

Maintain up-to-date employee payroll files, including personal details, job classification, and compensation.

Track vacation, sick leave, and other entitlements.

Update records for new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and benefits.

Liaise with HR and Finance departments to ensure alignment on compensation and benefits.

Use payroll software (e.g., DayForce, Payworks) to manage payroll functions.

Generate reports for management and auditors.
