BBE is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Technician to support our finance team. The successful candidate will play an essential role in ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, and maintaining positive communications with our customers and internal departments.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare, verify, and process customer invoices.
Apply and reconcile customer payments accurately in the accounting system.
Monitor accounts to identify overdue balances and follow up on outstanding payments.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and account details.
Assist with account reconciliations.
Support the Accounts Receivable team with administrative and accounting tasks as needed.
Maintain organized records of AR transactions and documentation,
CORPORATE COMPLIANCE DUTIES
Actively participate in BBE's QHSERT programs and systems.
Contribute to and foster transparent, direct communication, education, and customer service enhancement with operations teams and clients.
Contribute to BBE's continuous improvement and organizational efficiency goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
1 - 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing or related accounting work.
Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or business administration is an asset.
Experience in logistics, transportation or freight forwarding preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Proficiency in Excel and Accounting software/ERP system.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Business Administration Certificate or Diploma in Commerce, Accounting, or Business.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Highly proficient in MS Office.
Experience with MS Dynamics NAV is an asset.
Professional, customer service approach to vendor and staff relations.
