Are you a detail-oriented finance professional who excels at building strong customer relationships while maintaining financial accuracy? We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic Finance team and help drive our company's financial success.

About the Role



As our Accounts Receivable Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our company's financial health by managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining precise financial records. You'll work directly with customers and collaborate across departments to oversee the complete accounts receivable cycle.

What You'll Do


• Drive efficient collections and maintain positive customer relationships while ensuring timely payments
• Process and reconcile financial transactions using our Transportation Management System and Sage
• Manage EDI customer relationships and coordinate with external partners to ensure smooth payment processing
• Monitor credit risks and maintain customer account health
• Generate and distribute customer statements while resolving payment queries professionally




What You'll Need


• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or similar financial role
• High school diploma required; post-secondary education in finance/accounting an asset
• Proficiency in accounting software (Sage) and Google Suite
• Experience with EDI systems and processes
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Excellence in customer service and professional communication
• Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills
