The successful candidate will have earned a diploma (or equivalent) in accounting and have one or more years of experience in a junior or introductory finance/accounting role.
Commercial's Woodstock branch is a fast-paced and high-volume environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with a variety of responsibilities, and be able to quickly pivot, adapt, troubleshoot, and learn on the fly.

Responsibilities
Maintain customer accounts and process incoming payments promptly and accurately.
Prepare, issue, and send invoices, credit memos, and statements to customers.
Monitor overdue accounts and follow up on outstanding balances through phone and email.
Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment discrepancies.
Post daily deposits and ensure proper coding of AR transactions in the ERP system.
Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing issues or customer disputes.
Investigate and resolve any transaction discrepancies or issues with Head Office
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to receivables.
Assist colleagues and provide support as necessary, ensuring a collaborative work environment.
Serve as a backup for Accounts Payable and Office Administration duties
Desired Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
1+ year of experience in Accounts Receivable, Office Administration, or similar.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Excel, is required.
Basic understanding of general ledger accounting and the journal entries associated with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions.
High volume entry skills involving intercompany and multi-currency transactions.
Experience in the mechanical, automotive, or heavy equipment industry is an asset.
