Accounts Receivable Clerk We are looking for a full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our office team. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional, able to undertake all accounts receivable functions, along with handling phones and a variety of office support tasks. This person will work diligently under pressure and have a high degree of attention to detail and discretion. Although the position will majorly focus on accounts receivable items, general office/reception work is expected as well. Accounts Receivable Duties:

  • Post customer payments & prepare bank deposits.
  • Examine customer payment terms and payment history to resolve collections on past due accounts.
  • Verify account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from accounting software, internal records and from customers.
  • Maintain accurate receivables and collections reports.
  • Protect organization?s value by keeping information confidential.
Reception Duties:
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Enter service requests from our clients and service reps.
  • Update customer information in accounting software.
  • Review and respond to emails, communicating effectively with clients and the team.
  • Administrative support and general office duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent reading, writing, and speaking of the English language.
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accounting Experience, QuickBooks (preferred).
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong, accurate data entry skills and adaptable to new systems/programs.
  • Organized with the ability to multitask, in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Professional business manner and comfortable talking on the phone.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with employees at various levels of the organization.
