Job Type: TEMPORARY CONTRACT Full-Time at 28hours/week (Mon-Thurs, 9am-5pm with 1 hour lunch)

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for aiding the Accounting Manager/AR Coordinator in ensuring timely collections and maintaining accurate records of payments and outstanding balances. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Generating reports from Tracker (dental software)
Prepare and mail / fax statements and insurance documents as needed
Assist in data collection for AR reports
Scanning, renaming, and emailing of reports, invoices, and statements
Communicate with insurance companies regarding payment status, provider accounts & payment issues as needed
Navigate online insurance portals for all offices to obtain payment documentation
Aid in the preparation of monthly excel reports for all offices and send to AR Manager
General assistance given to AR Manager regarding AR collections
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1 year minimum Accounts Receivable experience or similar accounting roles
Strong critical thinking and decision making skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues
Excellent Organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy to work
Professional communication skills
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Work) required
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Fast and accurate data entry skills
Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information with discretion
Dental Admin / Dental Software experience appreciated but not required
