Robert Half is seeking an AR Accountant for a dynamic and compassionate not-for-profit organization dedicated to making a meaningful impact in our community. Their team is driven by a shared passion for their mission and is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join their finance team.

As an Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the organization\'s financial health. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage all accounts receivable activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage all accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash receipts, and bank deposits.
- Monitor and reconcile customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with donors and funding sources to ensure timely and accurate receipt of funds.
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports for management.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and audits related to accounts receivable.
- Work closely with other departments to improve and streamline AR processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, especially in a not-for-profit context.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
