Randstad Finance & Accounting is working with an reputable organization in the Health & Beauty space, who are in need of Accounts Receivalbe and Collections support for a 3-4 month contract role with the potential to extend based on performance. Ideal candidates will have 1-2+ years of AR/Collections experience, advanced Excel skills and a post secondary education in Accounting/Finance. Applicants will also need to be able to go into the office in Mississauga once weekly.
Knowledge of Netsuite or SAP is an assset.

Responsibilities
Enter, post and reconcile batches,
Research and resolve customer A/R issues,
Prepare aging reports
Maintain cash receipts journal
Update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L.
Carry out general accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures
Respond to requests for information from vendors and various other stakeholders
Work with clients to solve payment issues; set up payment plans as needed
Handle payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with guidelines
Reconcile bank accounts, recording and balancing financial information in a variety of ledgers
Verify the correctness of documents and codes
Qualifications
2+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable
Experience in B2B or B2C Collections
Post-secondary education in business administration, accounting or bookkeeping
Strong attention to the detail
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
