Accounts Receivable Administrator
to join our finance team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced industry.
The Accounts Receivable Administrator will support the finance department with a focus on
internal invoice audit
and
accounts receivable
operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a solid foundation in accounting while gaining exposure to the logistics industry.
Duties
Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet and general ledger accounts
Assist with internal audit and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts to enhance financial management practices
Utilize accounting software such as
CargoWise One
for efficient bookkeeping and reporting
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial workflows
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong understanding of financial concepts including double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, accrual accounting, and account analysis
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively
Strong attention to detail coupled with effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated
Familiarity with internal audit and AR processes
Knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with CargoWise One is an asset)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Eagerness to learn and grow within the logistics industry
