Job Description
We are currently hiring a Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist with a background in Logistics and Freight Forwarding for our client in Etobicoke. If interested, please apply to this ad.
Position: Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist (with a heavy focus on AR)
Location: Etobicoke, ON - Fully on-site (no hybrid)
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: $55K-$60K
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable: Generate invoices, monitor aging reports, resolve payment issues, apply payments, communicate with customers
- Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, reconcile statements, assist month-end closing
- Maintain accurate financial records, support audits, and improve AR/AP workflows
- 2-3+ years AR/AP experience (AR-focused)
- QuickBooks proficiency
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in logistics/freight forwarding preferred
