The Account Receivable position will organize and coordinate office administration and accounting procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The Accounts Receivable is responsible to keep the customer's accounts up to date with our terms.
The successful Account Receivable will have a background in accounting and doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative duties and executive support-related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, reliable, flexible, and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.
The Account Payable position will process the vendor's Invoices matching with our Purchase Order, and Proof of Delivery. Making sure that pricing and quantity are correct and received.
This position is a part time, 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, office supplies, equipment, and bills
Organize office operations and procedures
Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
Identify and correct price discrepancies with office vendors and service providers
Responsible for managing office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organized, correspondences are controlled, filing systems are designed and maintained
Prepare, send, and store accounts receivables invoices
Answer phones courteously and direct calls to appropriate staff through PA system
Maintain a clean and tidy work area
Other office related work as required
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have a Finance or Accounting background and be familiar with bookkeeping
Proven office management, administrative, or assistant experience
Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures
Knowledge of accounting, data, and administrative management practices and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Computer skills, Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Office, and Excel
Knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures
Knowledge of business and management principles
