Position Summary


In a context of continuous organic growth and acquisitions, the Corporate Accountant, based at the head office in Laval, Quebec, will report to the Corporate Accountant and will work in close collaboration with the other finance team members. He will play a key support role in the finance department by performing clerical and accounting tasks related to accounts payable and receivable.

Main responsibilities

Match, validate, code and enter supplier invoices into the accounting systems of certain companies within the group; Maintain and update the accounts payable sub-ledger and issue payments; Prepare the accruals analysis and collect the supporting documents; Resolve potential issues related to supplier invoices by communicating with the relevant organizations or individuals; Collect, validate and record expense reports and corporate credit card transactions for certain employees within the group using expense reporting software; Make bank deposits; Perform any other related tasks as requested;

Skills & Education

Degree : Hold a DEC or AEC in accounting or equivalent experience; Experience : A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; Skills : Great attention to detail, excellent command of Excel and ease with systems, sense of organization, rigor, autonomy, proactivity and team spirit; Language : Fluency in written & spoken English and French;

The ideal candidate would have experience working within a manufacturing or distribution company with multiple sites. They are a strong communicator in both French and English, with excellent written and verbal skills.
