Position: Accounts Payable Technician
Location: Downtown Montreal (3 days in office/2 days remote)
Salary: $60,000 to $65,000 (based on experience)
Job Type: 12-month contract (possbility of extension or permanency)

Our client would love to meet the following profile:
- DEC in Accounting (Ideal)
- At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable
- Bilingualism to communicate with suppliers outside of the Quebec region
- Experience with multiple currencies
- Team spirit

Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor and keep track timely of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders
- Respond to all vendor and internal staff inquiries and handle any discrepancies or outstanding balances
- Validate invoices and POs to ensure expenses are registered in the proper GL account and department
- Analyze invoice/expense reports; record entries
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
- Process payments (wires, EFT and credit card)
