What this job involves :



The Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist will be responsible for all accounts payable activities in a high-volume, multi-system, and energized environment. The A/P Specialist's main responsibility will be to enter invoices to ensure that day-to-day payment obligations are met in a timely and consistent manner. The A/P Specialist must be able to interact effectively with Facility Managers, Project Managers, Accounting/Finance staff, and vendors on a daily basis.



This is a fixed term role until August 2026.



What your day-to-day will look like:



Process various types of accounts payable transactions, including data entry of vendor invoices, expense reports, manual and emergency check requests, wires, etc.

Process daily and weekly A/P for multiple sites and vendors, ensuring all deadlines are met in a high-volume environment.

Assist the site team, client, and vendors with A/P issues or questions as they arise.

Understand and comply with all Jones Lang LaSalle A/P policies and procedures.

Monitor and enforce compliance by all Jones Lang LaSalle employees involved in the A/P process.

Gather the group's processing metrics on a daily basis.

Complete special projects and other functions as required by the manager or client.

Ensure that each transaction processed has appropriate approval prior to processing.

Correspond with suppliers and respond to inquiries in both English and French (where applicable).



Required Qualifications:



2+ years of related experience.

Exceptional data entry and analytical skills.

Demonstrated technical proficiency in MS Office.

Experience in E1/JDE platform (PeopleSoft, Oracle), and/or Tableau are key assets.

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and quality of work.

Must be able to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment; must operate with a sense of urgency, quickly responding to Stakeholders.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must have a positive, professional attitude and demonstrate professionalism at all times.

Must be able to work well independently with an ability to work collaboratively with others.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality, utilize judgment, and work with minimal supervision.
