Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Accounts Payable Specialist
to join our growing finance team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our accounts payable function. The ideal candidate is highly organized, skilled in managing multiple priorities, and confident in vendor communications.This is a
hybrid position
, with the flexibility to work from home as well as on-site when required.Key Responsibilities
Data Entry:
Accurately enter and maintain invoice information in the accounting system.Invoice Processing:
Review, verify, and process invoices while ensuring compliance with company policies.Vendor Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for vendors, resolving discrepancies and addressing inquiries promptly.Reporting & Reconciliation:
Prepare accounts payable reports, reconcile monthly AP activity, and ensure records are audit-ready.Administrative Support:
Assist with ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as needed.Qualifications
Experience in accounts payable or a related finance function. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
