We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments. This role requires proficiency with various accounting software and systems, including Workday, QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, Sage, ADP, Kronos, Ceridian, and UltiPro. The Accounts Payable Clerk will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting functions of the organization.
Duties
Process and verify invoices using accounting software such as Workday, QuickBooks, Sage, and PeopleSoft
Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of payable transactions
Manage data entry related to accounts payable and receivable activities
Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies
Maintain organized records of all transactions for audit purposes
Support payroll processing using systems like ADP, Kronos, Ceridian, and UltiPro
Collaborate with Human Resources on related HRIS data entry and account management
Conduct analysis of accounts payable data to identify discrepancies or process improvements
Experience
Proven experience with accounting software such as Workday, QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms
Familiarity with accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation processes
Experience working with payroll systems including ADP, Kronos, Ceridian, or UltiPro is a plus
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of HRIS systems and human resources processes is advantageous
Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify issues
Prior experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles is preferred
