What This Role Is All About



At Chard, every detail matters. The Accounts Payable Coordinator plays a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly by managing vendor relationships, processing invoices, and ensuring accuracy in our financial systems. This role calls for precision, organization, and a commitment to service excellence, supporting both our internal teams and our external partners with care and professionalism.

What You'll Be Doing



Accounts Payable

Process all incoming invoices in our accounting software, ensuring the right approvals are obtained. Match purchase orders to invoices where applicable. Manage the accounts payable inbox and respond to inquiries with accuracy and timeliness. Communicate with vendors to resolve invoicing matters and reconcile vendor statements. Prepare payments via cheque or EFT, ensuring all deadlines are met. Verify and process employee expense reports. Reconcile corporate credit card statements with diligence and accuracy. Complete cheque deposits through remote deposit or in person at the bank when required. Prepare chargeback invoices for related party transactions (e.g., legal, monthly and quarterly expense chargebacks).
Administration & Support

Set up new vendors in the accounting system and maintain accurate records. Assist with documenting standard operating procedures for the accounts payable function. Support the accounting team during external audits. Research new tools, systems, and software to improve processes. Manage rush items and ad-hoc requests with professionalism and urgency. Support the wider accounting team as needed.

What You'll Bring



3+ years of experience in an accounts payable role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; Yardi software experience is an asset. Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to multitask. A proactive approach to continuous improvement in systems and processes.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
