Accounts Payable Coordinator

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for the payment of approved invoices and/or employee expenses in accordance with audit criteria and company policies.





How You'll Help:


Maintaining inboxes of incoming invoices to process Match invoices to purchase orders for payment Enter invoices into Coupa for approval Review and audit invoices for basic requirements including proper approvals for payment Update Operations and vendors regarding payment inquries Liaise with Operations and Director-Vendor Management on Interline agreements Identify issues and escalate as required (to action, update our SOP's & to learn) WCB reporting and provided updated clearance certificates of vendors and reconciliation of vendor spend per month. Maintain signature templates and signing authority per approved by finance Review and audit payments before release to vendor Pull reports for broker pay to process deductions Other related duties as may be required




Your Skills & Experience:


Post secondary education in accounting or business administration. (considered an asset) A suitable combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Minimum of one year experience in accounts payable or another computerized accounting function in a fast paced environment, preferably in the transportation industry. A suitable combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Experience in AS400 an asset. Excellent computer skills including MS Office , specifically excel Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, particularly with numbers Understanding of accounting gl's and taxes is considered an asset Detail orientated with the ability to work accurately in a high volume, fast paced environment.
