PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible to record, process and verify vendor invoices on a daily basis. As a member of the accounting team, she/he will also be responsible for various balance sheet reconciliations.

SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage priorities in a structured and efficient way
  • Validate, code, compile and enter supplier invoices into the system
  • Obtain all required approvals prior to processing invoices
  • Match invoices to receipts and purchase order, when applicable
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Provide weekly reporting on scheduled payments
  • Process payments and issue checks
  • Manage prepayments and ensure timely follow-up and analysis
  • Carry out reconciliation of suppliers\' statements of account and check their credits
  • Respond to various requests from internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Reconcile various Balance Sheet accounts
  • Process and record credit cards transactions
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • College degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Attention to detail required
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities
  • Energetic, passionate and positive can-do attitude a must
