ABOUT THE POSITION

Reporting to the accounting manager, this successful candidate will be assisting the accounting team in an AP heavy role. This position provides an amazing learning platform for a candidate who enjoys learning the different accounting functions, able to adapt to changes on the fly, not afraid of challenges and able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Processing full cycle accounts payable
• Entering disbursement costs
• Reconciliation of expenses and invoices
• Uploading electronic invoices from vendors
• Processing daily bank deposits
• Providing support to other areas within the department when required (i.e AR, trust)
• Special projects and tasks as assigned by management

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1+ year of full-cycle or general accounting experience
• Previous legal experience is highly desired but not essential
• Post secondary education in Accounting is desired

COMPENSATION

• Up to $55,000 annual depending on experience
