While working closely and reporting to the Accounting Manager, the candidate in this role will be expected to manage the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. The essential functions of this role will include matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. What you get to do every day
- Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
- Implement full-cycle A/P
- Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
- Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
Requirements
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
- 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
- Excellent attention to detail
- Foundational knowledge in NetSuite
- Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Excel
