Accounts Payable and Payroll Clerk

Duties:
- Receive and review incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and approval.
- Code and enter invoices into the accounting system.
- Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Reconcile payment batches and ensure accurate and timely disbursement.
- Review and process employee expense reports.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries, disputes, and discrepancies.
- Initiate and assist in completion of month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare accruals.
- By use of Excel pivot tables, analyze and compare various P/L accounts against budget or prior periods
- Generate regular financial reports to inform management decisions.
- Accurately record and update employee information
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time, and calculate wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Assist in managing payroll-related compliance, such as tax withholding, deductions, and benefits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience in accounting and payroll administration.
- Proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, and payroll regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
