Value & Overview of the Role
The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for reviewing and accurately processing a high volume of invoices for the Corporately owned offices of Royal LePage Real Estate Services Ltd Brokerage.
Accountabilities
Processing vendor invoices, expense reports and Realtor charges in an accurate and timely fashion ensuring coding is correct and all invoices are properly authorized.
Understanding and adhering to company purchase and payables policies and validating appropriate invoice approvals and spending limits
Responsible for regular weekly cheque runs, including matching and distributing cheques and processing of EFT's.
Responding to payment inquiries from vendors and/or internal departments in a professional and courteous manner.
Posting cash receipts - cheques, credit cards, pre-authorized debits - to Realtor account on a daily/ monthly basis.
Assisting with special projects as assigned by the management team.
Skills
Strong attention to detail with ability to process high volumes of invoices quickly and accurately
Self-starter, analytical and critical thinker would be desirable
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well within the team
Knowledge
Solid Knowledge of accounting practices
Proficient with MS Office (Word and Excel) and Gmail
Previous experience with Back Office software (LoneWolf) would be an asset
Education / Work Experience
College or University Degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum 2 years of experience in a high volume Accounts Payable role
Previous business experience in a real estate accounting office would be an asset

Pay: $48,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
