We're a rapidly growing propane fuel supplier serving customers across Canada and the U.S.

As we expand, we're looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Accountant to join our finance

team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys

problem-solving, and takes pride in keeping financial operations accurate and organized.

What You'll Do

Vendor & Invoice Management



Enter, code, and process invoices, payments, and credits in NetSuite. Review invoices for accuracy, approvals, and proper GL/department coding. Maintain vendor files, set up new accounts, and confirm EFT/remittance details. Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies quickly and professionally.




Payments & Reconciliations


Prepare and issue EFTs, wires, and check payments within deadlines. Reconcile vendor statements, AP subledger to GL. Track and resolve missing payments, unapplied credits, and employee reimbursements. Support AP aging reports, accruals, and month-end close processes.




Collaboration & Process Improvements



Work with branches and operations to ensure data accuracy and timely submissions. Create and maintain purchase orders, payment templates, and approval workflows. Organize and maintain AP records for year-end readiness.

What You Bring

2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience. Experience with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite is an asset). Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (formulas, reconciliations, pivot tables). Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and problem-solving ability. Clear communication skills to work effectively with vendors and colleagues. Comfort managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
