About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Accounts Clerk
to join our team. No prior accounting experience is required -- we will train the right person and provide support to complete a
QuickBooks certification course
to build your skills.

What You'll Do
Financial Administration
Record financial transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping
Assist with payroll processing (bi-monthly)
Verify and categorize transactions in accounting software
Track expenses, payroll rates, and budget variances
Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, budgets, etc.)
Update payment vendor information as needed
Pay bills, credit cards, and utilities on schedule
Billing & Client Support
Generate invoices and statements
Assist families and clients with billing questions
Prepare and submit required agency billing documents
Process refunds or reimbursements
Collections
Communicate with clients about overdue balances
Arrange payment agreements when needed
Coordinate with external collections if required
General
Answer questions by email, phone, or in person
Maintain accurate financial records and documents
Support monthly and year-end financial processes

Requirements
Criminal record check (upon hire)
Resume + 2 references
Interest in learning accounting processes
Willingness to complete QuickBooks training
Certificate in Accounting is an asset (not required)

Total weekly hours
Compensation:
Based on experience + qualifications, with raises reviewed twice per year.
