Job Overview:
We seek a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Assistant. As an Accounts Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our accounting department and assist with various financial tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of finance and accounting.

Duties:
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closing procedures.

-Monthly and quarterly tax filings such as GST, PST, etc.

-Good knowledge of CRA filings.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Provide clerical support such as filing, scanning, and photocopying documents
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the accounting department

-Knowledge in pay roll

Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent customer support skills with a focus on providing exceptional service
- Proficient in clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as QuickBooks.

-Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Numbers MAC.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Valid work permit
