Job Description

The Opportunity:



We are seeking a highly organized and experienced

Accounts Administrator

to oversee financial operations and support administrative functions across the business. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in our day-to-day operations and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage full-cycle bookkeeping using

QuickBooks Online

Oversee

accounts payable

and

accounts receivable

Perform

monthly bank and credit card reconciliations

Prepare and file monthly

GST/PST

returns with the Canada Revenue Agency Process

semi-monthly payroll using Wagepoint

, ensuring compliance with BC employment standards Manage

employee onboarding and offboarding

, including payroll setup, ROEs, Employee Health Benefits and record maintenance Prepare and file WorkSafe BC Annual Returns Assist with booking travel arrangements for the team when required. Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial records Generate regular financial reports and assist with forecasting and budgeting Liaise with external accountants for year-end reporting and ensuring full compliance Support general office administration, including documentation, and internal coordination Coordinate with operations to ensure alignment between inventory management systems and financials Ensure confidentiality and accuracy across all financial and personnel records Assist in gathering documentation and answering queries during financial audits or reviews, when required.

Qualifications & Skills:



Minimum

2 years of experience

in bookkeeping, payroll accounts administration (preferred) Proficiency in

QuickBooks Online

and Google and Microsoft Office Suite Strong understanding of

Canadian accounting practices

,

tax remittances

, and

payroll regulations

Knowledge of

BC employment standards

and HR best practices Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
