Well established and successful downtown Shipping/Logistics company is currently looking for a Accounting/Finance Manager.
Location - Primarily in-office, with some WFH, Downtown Vancouver
Salary - $110K - $120K + bonus & benefits
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
8+ years of Accounting experience, including in the Transport/Logistics industry
Strong communication skills both oral and written.
CPA designation
Primary Duties:
Full cycle Accounting
Payroll, Pd7a and Income tax prepayments.
Customer Invoices/Receivable
Vendor Bills/Payable/Bank Reconciliations.
Periodic reporting - Monthly/Yearly.
HR Related functions
Be abreast of labor relations, other updates & changes in legislation.
Extended Health benefits admin
Employee Pension monitoring, payments and reporting.
Office Admin
Office Insurance
Vessel, Cash to Master Insurance
Other services/supplies - monitoring/directing
Vessel related
Ship lists - Maintaining and reporting.
Agency fees billing
Maintain terminal tariffs
PDA calculations worksheet create/maintain and assist operations staff
Input DA desk, PDA - keep an eye for timely input, reply queries.
Keep operations updated on receipt / Non receipt of PDA prior to vessel departure
Cash to Master, Policy, procedures and timely payment.
Maintain & pay ship related vendors
Timely Final d/a and reply queries related to FDA\'s.
