Responsibilities and Duties The Accounting Admin will be responsible for providing accounting and general office support to the management team. Duties will include:
  • Entry of sales orders and invoices, purchase orders and expenses, payment receipts, etc.;
  • Accounts receivable duties, including reviewing customer accounts and contacting customers to collect on overdue accounts;
  • Accounts payable duties, including making payments to vendors;
  • Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements and working papers,
  • Maintaining a well-organized filing system;
  • Providing administrative assistance to the Owner, the Controller, and Supply Chain Manager as required;
  • Greeting clients, answering the phone, checking the general email account.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 1 years\xe2\x80\x99 work experience in an accounting-based role, or a new grad from an accounting program;
  • Post-secondary education in accounting/bookkeeping, an asset;
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel);
  • Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience using Sage 50.
