About the role At balncd Inc., we provide an outsourced accounting and back-office service alternative to a variety of businesses allowing them to focus on other elements of their operations enabling them to succeed and grow. We help them ensure that the business decisions they make are based on a solid foundation of timely and accurate financial information. Working as an accounting technician at balncd Inc. is dynamic. You will work directly with a group of clients to enhance their accounting processes while improving the accuracy, timeliness, and availability of their financial information.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance accounting systems, processes and controls,
- Participate in the adoption of new technologies that best support our client\xe2\x80\x99s business needs,
- Implement changes that will support a move to paperless record keeping,
- Provide information that will allow for improved and enhanced decision making, and
- Work with a group of clients as their dedicated contact person for bookkeeping and payroll on an ongoing basis as required.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need:
- Experience using QuickBooks Online,
- Experience performing full cycle accounting responsibilities,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team,
- Experience preparing and/or compiling financial information, and
- Ability to adapt and work with new software and technologies.
Other experience that would be considered an asset
- College Diploma or University Degree in accounting.
- Experience processing payroll.
- Experience performing financial analysis.
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certification preferred.
