Our client is considered a dynamic, mid-sized accounting firm that offers compilations, notice to readers, accounting/taxation, and advisory work. They have been servicing clients within Southwestern Ontario for close to 40 years focusing primarily on owner-managed businesses. This is an opportunity to join a warm and engaging firm plus also experience the satisfaction of hands-on client involvement.

What you will do:

• Prepare working paper files for compilation engagements including corporate tax returns and other government filings.
• Assist clients with bookkeeping as required.
• Performing bookkeeping for corporations and unincorporated businesses.
• Completion of personal income tax returns.
• Communication with clients and CRA
• Assist clients with new company setup on Sage 50 (Simply), Quickbooks and QBO

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of Caseware, Sage 50 (Simply), Quickbooks, QBO, TaxPrep, Word, and Excel
• 3 years experience preparing compilation engagements and personal/corporate tax returns at a public accounting firm.
• Able to work under minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
