Responsibilities

Contribute to daily accounting functions, including tax preparation (personal and corporate) and payroll reporting. Assist in the preparation of compilation engagements and financial statements. Utilize accounting software such as CaseWare, TaxPrep, QuickBooks Online (QBO), and Sage 50. Stay organized and detail-oriented in handling documentation and client records. Communicate effectively--both verbally and in writing--with team members and clients.

Qualifications

Entry-level (0-6 months) experience in accounting, finance, or related fields. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent computer literacy--able to quickly learn new systems/software. Basic understanding of Canadian personal and corporate tax fundamentals. Bonus if you have familiarity with CaseWare, TaxPrep, QuickBooks Online (QBO), Sage 50 and Payroll reporting

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
