Position: Accounting Technician - Payroll
Location: Laval
Salary: Up to $60,000 per year, depending on experience
Benefits: Insurance + pension fund

Our client, a renowned company in its field in Laval, is looking for an Accounting Technician - Payroll. This is a job offer with a good professional stability within a small company constantly in innovation. Reporting to the Divisional Controller, the Accounting Technician is responsible for providing technical support related to financial and personnel management in order to ensure the smooth running of operations. Responsibilities :

- Prepare and reimburse expense and petty cash accounts
- Enter invoices for suppliers
- Prepare statistical reports requested by the directors
- Manage the payroll for the year-end audit file
- Perform payroll and DAS entries at month end accounting level
- Follow up on the Container on Order table
- Return the receipt of merchandise to the system
- Prepare electronic payments
- Prepare vendor commissions
- Enter and verify labor hours
- Make adjustments and transmit payroll to the payroll manager
- Manage CSST files
- Register new employees to payroll services

Requirements:

- DEC or experience with payroll, an asset
- At least 3 years experience
- MS Office (intermediate level)
- Bilingualism, both spoken and written (high level)
