Accounting Technician

Job Description
The Accounting Technician is responsible for performing accrual accounting for the firm\'s entire client base and providing support to the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform complete bookkeeping on cloud software (QB Online, DEXT...) including closing entries and reconciliation of records for all clients
- Prepare and produce payroll using the EmployeurD / Simple Construc software
- Perform government remittances (DAS, CCQ, GST/QST, parity committee)
- Produce various reports related to employees (T4, T4A, T2200, record of employment)
- Carry out compilation missions (notices to readers) and would assist in reviews
- Preparation and follow-up of personal and corporate tax returns
- Follow-up on files with government authorities
- Prepare and transmit various accounting reports
- Collaborate on various tasks to support the team
