Job Summary



We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative/Accounting Technician to cover a maternity leave. This role supports both our construction and restaurant operations by handling daily accounting tasks, invoice management, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, proficiency with QuickBooks, Dext, and Excel, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities



Construction



Enter and process invoices in QuickBooks (via Dext). Prepare and issue re-bill invoice for projects in QuickBooks. Update and maintain Excel budget files for each project. Reconcile bank statements and project budgets. Maintain the Profit & Loss statement Scan and upload physical mail and invoices (Hydro, Taxes, Energir, etc.) into Dropbox. Record physical invoices into Excel and verify payment status.

Restaurant



Update Excel-based Profit & Loss statements.

Other



Verify Balance Sheets and P&L in QuickBooks as needed. Review invoices in QuickBooks to confirm billable status (periodic check). Order office supplies online.

Qualifications



Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administration. Proficiency with

QuickBooks, Dext, and Microsoft Excel

. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Bilingual (French/English) preferred. Experience in construction or restaurant accounting is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,600.00-$70,000.00 per year
