$60,000-70,000 -- Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JPSearch.Responsibilities:
Perform bookkeeping and ensure accuracy of accounting data Carry out bank reconciliations in a rigorous and timely manner Prepare documents and reports for financial analysis Analyze and validate internal credit card reports Review and approve employee expense accounts Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes Prepare tax filings and reports (GST/QST) Contribute to preparation of financial statements Support continuous improvement of internal accounting processes and tools
Requirements:
DEC in Accounting or equivalent post-secondary diploma Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Current or previous experience working for a retail company as an accountant
Bilingual (French/English) - spoken and written Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail Proficiency with computer tools and comfort with IT systems Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities Demonstrated autonomy and initiative in daily tasksJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
