Accounting Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Accounting Technician will be primarily responsible for the performance of a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:

preparing corporate year ends, tax returns and financial statements

preparing personal tax returns

bookkeeping

GST returns and other filing requirements

correspondence with clients

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

3-5 years of experience in public accounting

Experience working in CaseWare and tax software

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Experience with QuickBooks and Sage Accounting Software would be an asset
