Role Overview

We are seeking an Accounting Technician who is detail?oriented, data?driven, and eager to support a dynamic manufacturing and technology environment. This role ensures accuracy of financial records, supports ERP processes, and collaborates with multiple departments including R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, and Sales.

'Responsibilities'

Prompt and accurate entry of accounts receivable and issuance of customer invoices Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records. Verify customer inquires and ensure accurate documentation Monitor AR aging and follow up on outstanding accounts Enter data accurately into various accounting systems. Credit card, expense report entries and reconciliations Inter-company transactions Support month-end and year-end closing procedures. Assist with inventory reconciliations and cycle counts Prepare GST and other regulatory filings Collaborate with team members to improve financial workflows. Provide reporting and analysis support to the Controller Participate in the transition from NAV to Odoo

'Qualifications'

Diploma or certification in Accounting or similar 1 - 3+ years of accounting experience Experience entering AP, AR, GL transactions in an ERP (Odoo preferred) Excellent data entry and reconciliation skills. Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Technology-savvy with strong Excel skills Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

Experience in a manufacturing accounting environment Experience working through an ERP implementation Odoo experience highly preferred
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
