HC Professional Corporation is a full service accounting firm with two offices, Stony Plain and west Edmonton. We are dedicated to helping people and their organizations plan for success by offering advisory services, planning for the future, tax planning, filing tax returns, and a wide range of services for small business owners and individuals.
We are currently seeking an accounting technician to join our team. You will work directly with clients to communicate tax information and other various general questions.
The position starts as a temporary contract but may become permanent.
Qualifications
Applicants with completed tax and accounting courses, or previous related work experience, will be given priority
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
Advanced English skills in both written and verbal communications are required for this position. This is a must as you will need to communicate with CRA and clients utilizing advanced accounting terminology and concepts
Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle as the position may on occasion require you to travel to a client's location, etc.
Responsibilities
Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
Assist colleagues whenever necessary
Preparing personal tax returns
Preparing corporate tax returns
Bookkeeping
Responding to CRA
Administrative duties

The wages for this position will be commensurate with experience.
