Responsibilities:
- Conduct continuous account analysis and reconciliations for clients
- Process accounts payable, including verifying invoices and coding expenses
- Assist with preparation of custom reports for clients
- Assist with tax-related preparation of documentation and coordinating with our franchise head office
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing customers and tracking payments
Requirements:
- Accounting diploma or recognized bookkeeping certifications minimum acceptable education, and / or 2 years experience will be considered
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Online considered an asset
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word) and Keeper
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payables /receivables, budgeting, Canadian tax regulations, and bank and credit card reconciliations
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality working with sensitive financial information
