Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Accounting & Tax Manager

to join our dynamic accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate taxes, assurance, financial analysis, and regulatory reporting. This role will be pivotal in overseeing financial statement preparation, corporate tax filings, review and audit engagements, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

Lead compilation, review, and audit engagements for both corporate and personal clients. Prepare corporate and personal tax returns with accuracy and timeliness. Manage and build strong client relationships, providing guidance on corporate and personal matters. Mentor junior accountants and provide training on accounting principles, best practices, and software (QuickBooks, CaseWare, TaxPrep). Conduct audits and assist with regulatory reporting as required by external agencies. Perform detailed financial analysis and account reviews to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA designation or equivalent preferred. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in public practice (CPA firm preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, TaxPrep, CaseWare, and Xero. Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively and mentor junior staff.

Pay: $80,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
