Key Duties & Responsibilities
Create and post
journal entries
, and analyze
bank statements, expenses, collections
, and other financial data.
Maintain accurate
bookkeeping records
and
general ledger entries
.
Manage
accounts payable
and
accounts receivable
functions.
Assist with
biweekly payroll processing
, reconciliations, and related journal entries.
Prepare and review
balance sheet and account reconciliations
monthly as part of the close process.
Maintain and reconcile
related party
and
intercompany transactions
.
Produce detailed
monthly financial reports
, including
Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Reporting Packs
.
Prepare and file
sales tax returns
(US and Canada) and other compliance documents as required.
Assist
external auditors
with requests and ensure audit readiness.
Perform
special projects, ad hoc analyses
, and additional duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications
Accounting designation
(completed or near completion) required.
3-5 years of accounting experience
in a
small to mid-sized business
or Saas finance environment.
Proficiency in
QuickBooks Online.
Advanced
Microsoft Excel
skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
Strong understanding of
financial reporting, reconciliations

ASPE principles
