We're expanding our accounting team and looking for an
Accounting & Payroll Specialist
who's organized, proactive, and eager to take ownership of daily accounting operations. You'll support billing, payroll, reconciliations, and document management while collaborating closely with our Senior Accountant.
What You'll Do
Process bi-weekly payroll and staff commissions
Prepare and issue client invoices; manage Accounts Receivable follow-ups
Perform weekly shipping reconciliations and bank/credit card reconciliations
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation
Assist with WSIB, EHT, and other remittances
Support month-end and year-end processes through data entry and reporting
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and cost tracking
What We're Looking For
2-4 years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software
Experience with payroll processing and A/R management
High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently
