Job Description

- Provide draft financial statements.
- Responsible for the monthly close process for assigned areas, and the preparation of internal/external financial reports and other analyses/financial management reports
- Prepare project financials including, forecast, progress reports and root-cause analysis on any deviations from plan.
- Perform daily accounting duties - including monitoring cash balances, posting journal entries, overseeing account reconciliations.
- Provide accounting support to the company\'s debt and equity financing activities, and support preparation of reports to company management and investors.
- Manage billing process and data entry into the accounting databases.
- Oversee complete bank, credit card, vendor statement, and account reconciliations.
- Actively participate in company\'s workflow design and implementation process.

- 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance
- Accounting designation (CPA or equivalent)
- Experience in construction or real estate development
- Experience in project accounting along with strong foundation in full cycle accounting
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or Economics
- Entrepreneurial drive and ability to work independently
