Job Summary:
We're looking for a collaborative and experienced
Accounting Manager
to lead our day-to-day accounting operations. In this role, you'll oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions, while mentoring a team of accounting professionals. You'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting month-end close, and driving process improvements across the department.

What You Will Be Doing:
Lead and Supervise:
Manage daily accounting operations including AP, AR, and bank reconciliations. Mentor and develop a team of accounting coordinators.
Team Support:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of accounting staff (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and cash transactions) while supporting the team in their client and vendor relationships.
Support Financial Reporting:
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports for accuracy.
Drive Improvements:
Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work with departments like Billing, Sales, and Operations to resolve accounting issues and support business operations.
Ensure Compliance:
Maintain adherence to internal controls while handling sensitive financial data with integrity.
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with Concur expense software is an asset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
