We\xe2\x80\x99re expanding our Commercial Accounting Division!! And looking for a passionate, driven and energetic candidate to join our team for the position of Accounting Manager located in our Head Office in Guelph, Ontario.

In this position, you would be responsible for using professional accounting concepts and internal company policies to manage accounting processes as well as associated staff in addition to assisting the Divisional Controller with various accounting related tasks as it pertains to Skyline Commercial Management Inc., while maintaining our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities.

What we look for:

  • A passion for accounting (yes, accounting) and an uncanny ability to apply accounting theory, principals and techniques.
  • Possession of strong leadership and ability to utilize your awesome supervisory skills for good team management.
  • Communication, communication, communication! Did I say communication? Yes, your ability to communication with others needs to strong.
  • Excellent critical thinking as well as analytical skills. There aren\'t many problems that you can\'t figure out and you\'re always up for a new challenge!
  • Ability to handle a large workload with a sense of humour. If you know Accounting, you know that obstacles are always around the corner and so you\'ve learned to handle challenges with a smile on your face.
  • Residential and commercial property management and/or real estate knowledge an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounting software (i.e. Simply, Accpac, Quick books, Yardi, etc.)
  • Degree in Accounting or related field with at least five years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar role.
  • CGA or CMA or working towards a designation an asset.
