Job Title: Accounting Clerk with Payables Experience

THE POSITION:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Clerk with a strong background in payables to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for accuracy, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Process and manage accounts payable transactions (uploading invoices and coding) Verify and reconcile invoices and statements Prepare various adjusting entries to the general ledger Monthly reconciliations Miscellaneous accounting tasks as needed Support Senior Accounting Clerk as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role (1 - 5 Years) Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting is a plus Post-secondary accounting degree would be considered an asset. Previous dealership experience is an asset but not a requirement.
